I had the same problem and broke the handle so I took it apart and there was a rock lodged in the corner. So I removed it and put it back together and now I can’t find the handle to operate it.

I want to still use my Garry Vacuum but is has been impossible to get a hold of them. I found a belt and glad because the one on the machine was broken.
I would like to keep this vacuum and continue to use it because it works just fine.

Like the vacuum but can't find bags.
Orek bags fit perfect just cut top cardboard to allow top clip to connect. They work as good or better than the Gary and u can find them online for like $6 a dozen

I just want my vacuum bags for free, I just pay shipping!!!!! It just seems very odd that there would be no answer on the phone to customer service and no working link to customer service on their site!!!

My understanding is they Went out of business. I had my Garry 10 years and it was fine.
A pin fell out and it sounds like something is in the motor jumbling around. Cant Get the Bottom off to see the problem. Fortunately, I found a DYSON STICK V10 Animal on sale at Best Buy $449. It is the most amazing Vacuum cleaner I have EVER had!
The Dyson Motor is Amazing, The vacuum weighs 5lbs. wHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO GET A STICK VACUUM. Glad my Gary Broke. It never Cleaned or picked up like this Dyson V10 Animal Stick.
I love it!!! IF you want my left over bags I will send them to you for $25 which will include postage. I have 24 brand new Garry Bags.

I bought the Febreze Oreck XL from Walmart, you have to do a little cutting of the back cardboard piece on them to get it to snapbin place but they work!

You can use modified Oreck XL bags in your Garry. Garry bags are no longer made.
